“Briefly, before enrolling with Penn Foster, I was working as a driver and had no hopes of ever furthering my education.”

“I am a fourth semester student studying Electrical Engineering Technology Degree program. I am honoured to be a Penn Foster student. The program is well structured and easy to understand; the payment terms are also reasonable and pocket friendly. The program has improved my status at work, I am now confident and can tackle any electrical problem both at work and for our esteemed customers. Briefly, before enrolling with Penn Foster, I was working as a driver and had no hopes of ever furthering my education. However, my dream of having a degree was fulfilled when I was introduced to Penn Foster College. I am the Technical Manager, my salary and benefits have improved. My employer has been in the forefront in encouraging me and supporting me financially through out the semesters. Truly speaking, studying has not been easy for me, as my job is very demanding, working odd hours and caring for my family. I have little time to read and do my home work. However, with determination, courage, and support from my employer and family, I have been able to make it this far. I would like to encourage the upcoming students and those who have not decided to enroll and have better education not to give up but face challenges with vigour and aim high.”

“Enrolling in Penn Foster has allowed me
the opportunity to go after my dream
and fulfill this very rewarding passion
of working with children.”

Becoming a mother herself made Kimberly realize how important quality day care is for parents who must work outside the home. She has a degree in Marketing and is working toward her second degree, this time in Early Childhood Education with Penn Foster College. She hopes to open her own child-care center, someday. Because she has a full-time job and a child, Kimberly realized how difficult it would be to take college courses again. “Because I was a full-time employee and a full-time parent, it was very hard for me to consider enrolling in college, again, full-time to obtain a degree that would allow me to start my own child-care business. That was until I discovered Penn Foster.” The convenience of learning at home has helped Kimberly balance work, valued time with her son, and her personal life. And she is fulfilling her promise to herself...to start her own business in a career she loves. “Enrolling in Penn Foster has allowed me the opportunity to go after my dream and fulfill this very rewarding passion of working with children.”
