Penn Foster College is licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education and is authorized to award Associate of Science Degrees.
Penn Foster College has met the high standards of integrity and performance set by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) in Washington, D.C. The DETC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
The American Council on Education, ACE/College Credit Recommendation Service (formerly ACE/PONSI), is nationally recognized as a major coordinating body for postsecondary education. More than 140 courses have been approved for college transfer credit by ACE/College Credit Recommendation Service. The suggested transfer credits are listed in The National Guide to Educational Credit for Training Programs published by the American Council on Education.*
All Penn Foster College programs are affiliated with DANTES, which qualifies U.S. military personnel for tuition reimbursement.
